The volume on my time warner cable remote doesn't work, is there any way to make it work?
I am so sick of going up to the TV to change the volume if it is too loud or if it isn't loud enough. I have read the manual again and again but I can't find in there how to make the remote work correctly! Can someone explain to me how to make the volume button on my remote work?
Most cable remotes can be programmed to operate the volume on either the cable box or your TV set, depending on preference.
First, you will need to identify which remote you have (usually find the model number under the battery lid or batteries themselves), then the remote's manual on Time Warner's website (below) will tell you how to program the volume to operate your TV rather than the cable box.
