Do I need new injectors/ fuel rail/ fuel pump yet for my 2004 mustang GT?
my mods are....BBK 70mm TB, C&L upper plenum, BBK CAI, BBK U/D pulleys, MAC ceramic coated L/T Headers, MAC O/R ProChamber midpipe, MAC mufflers, FRPP 3.73s, FRPP aluminum drive shaft, diablo sport 91Octane tune
i've been looking around and so far the consensus is that my fuel delivery will support up to around 300 RWHP. So far the consensus on here that I have around that. I have a problem when im at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle my car surges. But doesn't do it at WOT. Im looking in my Chilton manual and one sympton that could cause this is a bad EGR valve. Or could it be my fuel delivery not being able to keep up? i would think if it was fuel delivery it would be constant or only at WOT but not just cruising at 1/4 throttle. please help before i spend money on the wrong parts. thanks
a high output fuel pump and injectors aren't a bad idea and would probably take car of your problem.
