My mono amp has 2 speaker terminals?
I know from a past question that these two terminals are both the same channel and that its just to ease installation, but if i hook one (4ohm) speaker to 1 terminal and the 2nd speaker (4ohm) to the second terminal, will the amp still receive a 2ohm load as it would with wiring in parallel wiring? :

It IS parallel wiring. Those two speaker connections are parallel to each other.
