How easy is it to change the speaker wire that is integrated into the Sony HT-DDW700?
I realize that speaker wire definetely makes a difference, but I don't want to completely screw up the connections on my new system. I really like this system for the price. It's a budget system and I am completely aware of this, so if you are here to just bash my system then keep those opinions to yourself please... 
I'm extremely picky about picture and sound, and even though I do have to turn it up almost all the way it does an amazing job for $160! I recently discovered Monoprice (their QUALITY and SERVICE is unbeatable IMO) and purchased a sweet HDMI cable from them so I will probably buy speaker wire from them too, "IF" I can easily upgrade the integrated sony wire that is.
I'm sure it isn't too hard, but be aware, once you take apart the speakers you will effectivly void any warranty on the system.
Most likely the ends inside the speakers are soldered, so you will need a soldering gun to un-solder the connections. The good news is you can just use spade plugs to reconnect the new wires.
If the wire is also integrated into the reciever end, you have have to do the same thing, but hopefully it simply has the spring clips outputs and you won't have to bother.
Go with a 14 or 16 gauge wire, and don't spend a lot of money. Go with el-cheapo copper wire. Radio Shack or Wal-mart is fine....avoid Monster Cable....that stuff is way over priced.
