Looking how to reattach the tuner string?
I have acquired a Sylvania AM Clock Radio, model 598, circa 1953. The tuner string popped off the mechanism and I can't figure out the right combination to reattach it. Sylvania no longer has the info and Sams photofacts do not list it. Anyone have a link or a diagram?
Any person reasonably mechanically inclined and possibly dealt with similar scenario should be able to figure it out for you. There should also be a spring involved in the string system also.
