What effects does Aluminum foil have on magnetic, radio signals and infra red signals?
Does it disrupt the signals sensors? If I put aluminum foil between two magnets or radio or infra red signals would it cancel out the effect? Is that why in those crazy films the paranoid people wear foil hats to not get spied on?
Disrupt is not the correct concept. Al is a pretty good reflector of IR wavelengths (it absorbs only a tiny fraction of the incident radiation and reflects almost all of it). Radio waves can cover a broad spectrum of wavelengths and the real answer is "it depends". Al is not magnetic so it will have no effect.
