Fisher & Paykel 4.5kg auto sensor Dryer makes loud scraping noise when running?
I bought a *BRAND NEW* Fisher and Paykel 4.5kg auto sensor dryer 2 days ago...Quite expensive, top of the range dryer...Set it up yesterday, and turned it on, expecting a quiet sound of the motor running...Instead, it is EXTREMELY loud, it sounds like the bowl is scraping against something as it turns around. Have tried unplugging and replugging it, tried it with and without clothes in it, tried all the different settings, and nothing works. Has anyone else had this problem, or know of any suggestions to fix it?
I have called the customer service line, there is apparently an "emergency" in the call centre, and to call back later. Will go into the shop I got it from tomorrow, but just want to see if any one has any suggestions first.
I have a Fisher & Paykel 6kg Condenser Dryer I got about 5 weeks ago and it's very quiet.
