How to install a car stereo system in a 2002 Saturn SL2?
Okay, I had bought a stereo to put in my car and was able to remove the old stereo, but when I went to put the new one in, the wiring didn't match up. What do I need to do?
Go to a Car Audio shop and purchase a Wiring Harness for that vehicle, connect the wires from the new harness to the supplied harness from the aftermarket player (It's basically an adapter). It should now be able to connect to your factory harness, no cutting included. Dont forget to buy some Butt Connectors to connect the wires. Good luck and have fun.
BTW: harnesses are usually under $10.00
