Are there FM radio receivers which can receive 85.5 Mhz and lower frequencies?
I am looking for desktop radio models - not the ones embedded in headphones. I am using a Mitashi FM transmitter to channel music from my desktop to bedroom. But I have to use headphone supplied with the product to catch the transmission since it seems to be transmitting at 85.5 Mhz (as per brochure) and most FM radios (including the cellphones) seem to start receiving only at 87.5 Mhz. My purpose is to let multiple people listen to the transmitted music stream in the house using an FM tuner of their choice. So a normal desktop FM radio capable of receiving 85.5 Mhz might suit better.
Not in the US, as the FM Broadcast band starts at 88.1MHZ
In Japan however it's 76-90 MHZ, so a Japanese radio should work.
