Can you please help me out with these Trigonometry problems?
1. Angelica's 12 inch diameter pizza sells one quarter for P120. What would be a fair price for one-sixth of an 18 inch diameter pizza?
2. The windshield wiper of Cathie's BMW car is 18 inches long. How many square inches will the tip of the wiper trace out in 1/3 revolution?
3. The drive wheel of an engine is 13 inches in diameter, and the pulley on the rotary pump is 5 inches in diameter. If the shafts of the drive wheel and the pulley are 2 feet apart, what length of belt is required to join them?

1. I guess you could work out the unit price per square inch. Work out the area of a 12 inch pizza, divide it by four, then divide the price by this area to work out the unit price per square inch.
Then do the reverse. What area would 1/6 of an 18 inch pizza have? Multiply this area by the unit price to get an equal price. I don't do imperial units so I can't help you.
2. 1/3 times the area of an 18 inch circle.
3. It's a bit difficult to determine whether the "2 feet apart" thing is measuring between the two circle centres, or from the two closest edges.
Circumference of half of each of the circles plus 2 x the distance between them (add 2 x radius on each side if the distance is measured from the edge) and that should tell you.
OR you might need to adjust the distance between them, because if you draw a diagram to scale you'd see the belt would slant down towards the smaller circle. If so, make a right-angled triangle where the two shorter sides are the distance between them and the larger wheel's radius, and the hypotenuse is the slanted belt length.
