On the website Ultimate Guitar will an acoustic's tab still work and sound correct if you play on an electric?
I was trying to find a precise tab for the song "Memory" by Sugarcult. I found the tabs but none really sounded right but the acoustic one got really good reviews.....will it still work and sound right if i play the acoustic version on my electric guitar?
Yeah, sure. Only the sound is different, really, but the chords & positions are the same. That said, I tend to avoid open strings when playing electric because they longer or tend to feed when I use distortion, so I am not even aware of it but I do play differently on an electric. Still, it's a practicality thing, you don't HAVE to change anything.
