Now that you all have jogged my memory, I think mine was a Teac, too. I miss it, but it was a pain recording all those songs.....very time consuming!

Yes (and I know I'm showing my age) but I had a couple of different ones in the 70's and early 80's and the sound quality was amazing. I had a very good collection of music on reels. and I kept a list of songs and their counter location on the tape so that I could find them when I wanted to. I don't think I miss it miss that much especially compared to my IPOD. The IPOD sound is not as good but it is much more convenient.
