Knob Silver Sand

Hi all, I'm extremely design challenged, but just bought my first place and am trying to spruce it up. I recently sanded and painted my laminate cabinets to a darker slate blue grey. The technical color is Ralph Lauren Blue Leather. Im trying to figure out a good color to go with the cabinets and the new silver knobs to paint the walls in the kitchen. I would like a "warm" color, but really don't know what colors would go with the slate color. I have been fairly risky in the colors in other rooms such as aqua in the living room and bright sage in my hallways outside the kitchen. Any ideas? Or websites I can go to to find help with color matching?
