Can you put a fuel Filter on a 1995 300 honda four-wheeler?
It will not idle unless the choke is set and we think its the carb.( which we will clean out ), but would it hurt anything to put a fuel filter on the line runing from the (metal) tank to the carb. It has been under water many times before and I don't guess it would leak any.

Sure you can, and it sounds like your jets are clogged on it. You can clean them out with a small piece of stripped wire, and carb cleaner.
