HP Laserjet 4050TN Jams Frequently. How to fix or clean.?
I have an HP Laserjet printer that jams. It gives a message
13.1 Paper Jam
OPEN INPUT TRAYS THEN
OPEN AND CLOSE TOP COVER
I do this and find no paper caught in the system but a
sheet that has partially moved off tray 2 but did not get
picked up. I've tried to wipe the pinch rollers and lick
fingers and touch them to increase the friction. Then open
cover, remove toner, put it back and close.
Processing job from Tray 2. Then error repeats.
But if I put some paper in the envelop tray, one
sheet at a time, the printer will print. What is wrong
with this d***{darn-or expletive} printer! Can I fix it. Thank You.
Your rollers are old and most likely worn out. They need to be replaced. (How old is the printer?)
